em16 is a design studio founded in 1999 by me, Em North. I create fresh, innovative, user-friendly designs for companies, nonprofits, and individuals. I have over twenty years of experience designing and managing strategic, visually-appealing, original solutions that strengthen your organization’s messaging.

I am an artist and people-person, harnessing my skills in design to elevate social initiatives. I have taught art and design at Parsons and Rutgers University and owned Scarlet Letter, an inclusive tattoo studio in New York City.
